The IBM Center for The Business of Government connects public management research with practice. Since 1998, we have helped public sector executives improve the effectiveness of government with practical ideas and original thinking. We sponsor independent research by top minds in academe and the non-profit sector, and we create opportunities for dialogue on a broad range of public management topics.
Since its creation 16 years ago, the Center has published over 320 reports by leading public management researchers in the academic and non-profit communities – all of which are available at our web site, www.businessofgovernment.org. These publications focus on major management issues facing governments today: innovation, data and analytics, collaboration, cost savings and improving performance, cyber-security, acquisition, innovation, risk, and leadership.
