VeteranOwnedBusiness.com announced that it now has over 2,000 veteran-owned businesses listed in it’s directory. Listings are free for businesses owned by veterans, active duty military, reservists and service disabled veterans of the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard or National Guard.
Their growth has been rapid since they launched on Veteran’s Day last year. Their Website has welcomed over 250,000 visitors that generated nearly 1.5 million page views so far in 2009.
Listings (membership) are free and each company gets detailed company profile that includes contact information, directions with a detailed mapping system, a product/service description, link to the company’s website and more. Member listings are integrated into VeteranOwnedBusiness.com’s search capability so each company, product and/or service can be found geographically, by category and even within a certain radius of a zip code.
