With over 23 years’ experience in the Information Technology, Government Contracting, and Internet arenas, David Coakley is recognized as a visionary leader and change agent who firmly believes that “a passion for excellence is the key to success.” David is the founder and principal of  GovCon, which he launched to serve small and midsized government contractors throughout the U.S. by leveraging Web 2.0 and other technologies to bring them the same valuable resources and opportunities readily available to government contractors in the D.C. area.

David brings a sincere passion for helping to transform small and mid-sized businesses into market leaders by refining or reinventing their business models, inventing new brands, and by deploying new technologies to increase effectiveness across all functional areas. Whether as an owner, consultant, or member of the executive team, his entrepreneurial philosophy has led to new revenue and profit growth as well as an enhanced corporate culture.
